Thanks to the Exercise Player, you can watch how the pupil performed the exercise step by step within the time line, in order to detect her hits and misses.

The user interface consists of four buttons, each with a picture of a mouse on it, to show and hide the pointing device events. These button icons are coloured as follows:

Red
This button shows/hides pressing pointer events
Gray
This button shows/hides dragging pointer events
Blue
This button shows/hides releasing pointer events
Yellow
This button shows/hides clicking pointer events

Note that the dots drawn over the exercise are in the same colour as these buttons.

The user interface also contains a time bar which can be moved by the user manually or by using the buttons in the panel on the right. These buttons are for:

  • Returning to the beginning of the exercise.
  • Starting the exercise player.
  • Pausing the exercise player.

Finally, above the button panel there is a display showing the position of the time bar. It can be visualized in minutes and seconds or in milliseconds; to change the display format, you have to click on it.

The player has got different engines to execute exercises. The choice of the engine depends on the type of the exercises.
